Scholarship Award Information - Enrollment Requirement

There are multiple types of scholarships awarded to students and each has a different process for application and billing required for the school. There is certain information we need from what is called the “Award Letter” received for each student. Below you will find a list of scholarship programs by name and a description of the scholarship and how to determine which information will be needed in order for us as a school to enroll your child for the school year and request reimbursement for tuition. In the past, most students were enrolled through the McKay Scholarship program which most of you know has been eliminated and is now under a new scholarship program. Please review the descriptions below to determine the scholarship program your child uses and enter the information needed so that we can complete enrollment before the deadline and before funding is exhausted. Time is of the essence when it comes to most of the scholarship programs which operate on a first come first serve basis. We are working as fast as we can to complete enrollment in a timely manner but we are dependent on parents to provide us with the required information before we can complete this process.

FES/UA - All students who transitioned from the McKay Scholarship program fall under this program. These are also students who were formerly recipients of the Gardner Scholarship. FTC - This scholarship is for students who gained eligibility by meeting income requirements. FES/EO - This scholarship program is for students who gained eligibility as siblings of a student eligible for the FES/UA scholarship program or by being a dependent of active duty military or reservist. HOPE - This scholarship program is for students who have been deemed eligible due to being a victim of bullying in a public school setting.

FES/UA SCHOLARSHIPS ONLY - Student ID

For students who are recipients of the FES/UA scholarship (Formerly McKay Scholarship and Gardner Scholarship) we must have the "Student ID" in order to enroll and request tuition payment. This is shown on the student's "Award Letter".

For students who are recipients of the FTC & FES/EO scholarships we must have the "Award ID" in order to enroll and request tuition payment. This is shown on the student's "Award Letter".

FTC & FES/EO SCHOLARSHIPS ONLY - APPLICATION ID

For students who are recipients of the FTC & FES/EO scholarships we must have the "Application ID" in order to enroll and request tuition payment. This is shown on the student's "Award Letter". THIS ONLY IS NEEDED FOR FIRST YEAR STUDENTS AT KSOD. Students who are re-enrolling at KSOD do not need to provide an Application ID number.
